Fellowships/ Professional Experience
I have been able to acquire gainful knowledge from several fellowships and professional experiences during my graduate school tenure. I learned how to build a sustainable network of scholars and experts in the field who are interested in solving or reducing societal issues such as food insecurity, cancer health disparities, and under-representation of minorities in STEM. In doing so, it has helped me to better synthesize the broader impacts of my research.
